We arrived safely in Kampala!! We were picked up at the airport by Jolly, director of HEALS. Right now we are in Kampala, staying at her home here. We are getting familiar with the culture, being briefed on the current political status and preparing for what we will be doing in Gulu. We feel very encouraged by the work that is going on here and are excited to get to enter into it. Sunday morning Uganda time, we will be leaving for the North. It takes 4 to 5 hours to drive to Gulu. We're looking forward to meeting the children and other workers at HEALS and also getting settled into our new home. Please pray for us and our journey to Gulu as well as our introduction to the people there and the work we will be doing.

We are having trouble with uploading photos, but hopefully we will be able to do that soon. We want you to see the beautiful countryside and people we have been encountering!
